Ali’s family worried he would never keep up in a mainstream classroom. Through SPHE’s disabilities programme he received hearing support, and his teachers took part in inclusive education sessions. Today Ali participates in class activities and has made close friends.

His mother volunteers at school events and encourages other families to seek assessment early.
